Getting a little crafty, yall! Joanna is showing us all how we can make that perfect piece for your home. We are in love with this fall-inspired wreath.
Nothing too crazy. Anyone can make this DIY Fall Wreath I made. Especially if you watch my expert Instagram stories on how-to! Ha! Ha!
All jokes aside, I found everything I needed to make this wreath at Old Time Pottery. They have some of the prettiest florals I've seen! It was easy to choose from their huge selection.
First I chose a large grapevine wreath-this one was only $6.99! Then these beautiful golden eucalyptus branches caught my eye. I love eucalyptus and this color is perfect for fall decorating.
Next I chose some green and amber stems. I love adding a little greenery even in fall.
My favorite part of this wreath is the faux feathers. I love how they pop against the florals and extend the wreath out.
This wreath turned out to be one of the prettiest I've made!
Here's my simple how-to:
First I separated all of my stems from the bunch by cutting them with wire cutters. This makes it easier to spread them out on the wreath.
Then I just started weaving them through the grapevine. I alternated the gold eucalyptus with the greenery and added the feathers to the outside.
I continued doing this all the way around. Then I hung it on my door after and went back and filled in empty spots.
I love it on my front door but I like it even better on our mantle. The ochre and amber tones look great with the wood and rust on our fireplace.
All of these great stems and florals and pumpkin you see are from Old Time Pottery along with this huge amber bottle and pretty golden vase.
I also picked up this cute pumpkin sign there. I loved that the pumpkins in the sign had the same tones as everything else.
So there you go, a beautiful, simple DIY wreath for Fall! If you've made a wreath this season, I'd love to see it! Tag me on Instagram- @southernsurroundings!
