Kate Riffe is on the blog today to show us her beautiful fall front porch!
I can’t believe fall is already here! If you know me, you would know that fall is by far my favorite season. I’m all about these cooler temperatures, pumpkin patches, cozy sweaters and boots, changing leaves, and of course Halloween! One of my favorite things to do is decorate around my home, so when Old Time Pottery reached out to me to do a fall porch refresh, of course I just had to do it. They have so many fun new fall arrivals, and I was able to grab a couple to add to my fall porch decor.
I recently went to the Old Time Pottery location in Independence, Missouri to shop for all these new fall goodies. Our front porch and entryway is fairly small, so I was on the lookout for things that would fit my space. I absolutely love how it turned out! It feels so inviting and cozy.
The first thing I wanted to look for was a wreath for my front door. I love having a big wreath for the focal point, and I found this one. I loved these colors, and I wanted to coordinate the rest of my decor with the colors of this wreath. I also picked up this adorable pumpkin wreath hanger to tie the look together (they had it in white as well, but I just love the classic orange!)
Next on my list of fall porch must-haves was a couple of pumpkins. You can never have too many, in my opinion! There were so many different sizes, shapes, and colors to choose from. I ended up going with the classic orange and white that went with my wreath. I also found the big ceramic monogrammed pumpkin, which added a sweet touch of personalization! I also picked up the little “home” sign to balance out that space. The pumpkin patch throw pillow also adds some cute autumn vibes paired with an old vintage chair and an old blanket.
Last but not least- I had to get a new welcome mat! Nothing says fall quite like plaid. I love the simple black and white colors. It adds a nice balance and contrast to all the orange. Don’t forget to add in some florals to your decor as well. I went to my local garden center to get some colorful mums and some ornamental grass to complete the look.
I hope you enjoyed my fall porch makeover! This was so fun to put together, and I want to give a huge shoutout to Old Time Pottery for making all the magic happen. I hope you’ll pick out some of my finds, or some of your own special finds!
