Fall Mantel Decorating Ideas

Today on the blog we have Hostess Jo showing us how to get your home ready for fall!

Can you believe it's that time again?!  Time to start decorating for FALL!  With us moving soon, I am keeping things pretty simple this Fall.  Some deeper colors and cozy textures are all you need to transform your home for the season.

I was so glad that Old Time Pottery wanted to collaborate on their beautiful fall decor!

I've noticed I am drawn to a certain color each season.  Do you change up your Fall decor too?

Last fall I decorated with a lot of golden, mustard colors.  This year I wanted something different.  Old Time Pottery had the prettiest burgundy colored florals!  I knew they would look great with our gray tones in the house.

I fell in love with the feathers on this wreath!  The colors were exactly what I was going for too.  You also can't beat the prices on Old Time Pottery's wreaths!  I try to start with an inspiration piece and go from there when I'm decorating for the seasons.

Next I found the wine colored cat tails.  I loved the color and height of them.  A great way to bring the look of nature inside.

This pretty little velvet pumpkin had to come with me too.

These burgundy florals provide the perfect pop of fall color and went perfectly with the wreath.

As always, Old Time Pottery has the coolest vases and pottery.  The large textured vase and the small black one look just like some I've seen from other retailers for a much higher price.  They add great texture and color to any space for any season.

I always like to add a little sparkle and this sequin pumpkin did just that.

The "Hello Fall" pillow completed the whole look.  It's cozy and I love the contrast of the black lettering.
