Brightening up your porch with some fall colors doesn’t have to break the bank, and in fact, it’s pretty easy. We broke down some easy tips and tricks, some that you can twist to match your own home style! Whether you have a stunning wrap-around porch or an apartment entryway; maybe you crave the farmhouse-feel or have a modern taste – you can still prep your entryway to make it feel all warm and fuzzy every time you step through the door.
Make Your Front Door an Attention-Grabber
If you choose to style your own wreath from some of the many OTP floral options or buy one pre-made, a wreath is a great way to make a first impression and make your front door pop. We grabbed a cozy-cotton wreath and styled our own letter to go inside! It matched the style of the wreath perfectly, and made it personal to us! There were so many statement letter options, from galvanized metal to round wood, and additionally, cute signs that could fit as well!
Pumpkins: Carved or uncarved, what’s your style?
Pumpkins are a must, but step out of the norm and add gourds and squashes, and maybe faux painted pumpkins! This painted pumpkin was less than $10, and the mixed gold and white added that extra shine that mixes with all the neutrals! The huge bushel of wheat added that must-needed different texture to the entire ensemble! The wheat and also the grey vase pictured in the first photo (only $20!) added a height difference to make a small space look that much bigger.
Adding Different Textures
We love how @sippycupsandrose added different OTP layering and textured pieces to their entryway! With the hay bales, scarecrow and greenery, it grabs your attention and also makes your feel right at home, and it pops wonderfully next to the light-toned brick! Using a lot of orange and red tones does wonders to not only get into the spirit, but also make the tones of your home stand out, especially if they are neutral. Something about this season makes us want to grab a cup of coffee (or maybe a glass of wine!) and curl up on the porch to enjoy the cooler weather and the changing array of colors outside. Whether your porch is small or spacious, there are endless possibilities to make it fall and also you! Make your porch a sight for the neighborhood!
