Ho ho holy cow! The holidays will be here before we know it! It’s the time of year when decking the halls is the most exciting. There will be so many decisions to make and themes to roll with. As always, Old Time Pottery had an incredible selection of holiday decor that was exactly what I was looking for. Last year we went for a very bright and colorful theme, this time around, I’m leaning more towards neutral vibes.
For this holiday bathroom makeover, I wanted to play off of the teal-colored walls that are a main focal point. I did not want to bring any red into this space; so finding green options was my goal. Switching out the bright and colorful rug, to a set of neutral rugs with pops of greens helped me to bring in the look that I had desired. I went with one tan, cushioned rug, perfect for a soft landing when hopping out the shower. I chose a larger, patterned rug to put in front of the sink. The tan color can be found in both rugs, which helped tie them together perfectly.
The addition of simple white towels allowed the greens to pop from the patterned rug and avoid being overwhelming. Plus, I just love the look of white towels! Bringing in a small Christmas tree really helps to bring home that Christmas decor. I placed it into a tan and white basket to continue the bohemian feel of the rest of my home throughout this space, and to continue the neutral color-scheme as well.
Lastly, nothing says Christmas to me like fresh baked cookies. Old Time Pottery had an awesome selection of holiday themed candles which added the perfect final touch to this space!
