Holiday Hosting Made Easy

Plating

Old Time Pottery offers a wide variety of plating options that are great for any occasion. Since it is the holidays, red charger plates make for a great base. Having a charger plate under your dinner plate elevates the dining experience for your guests. To complete the setting, add a decorative napkin with a holder. I chose a metallic red napkin with a pearl napkin ring to coordinate with the charger and my centerpiece.

Centerpiece

Whether you will be entertaining for a small, intimate group of friends or for a large family, having a beautiful centerpiece display is a must to pull your tablescape together. Because I am preparing for 3 guests and will be at a smaller table, I opted for a tall, red lantern with two accent silver pots with greenery and berries. If you will be hosting a bigger group at a larger table, you can add more items such as candles or even decorative ornaments to achieve a flawless tablescape.

Coasters

With guests going from the dining room and kitchen to the living room, it is important as the host to protect your furniture. No need for regular boring coasters, instead have holiday themed ones available for your guests to use. The Polar Bear Coaster & Caddy Set comes with a few coaster options.
