Thanksgiving Table
We are officially moved into our new home! I haven't done much decorating yet, but I did style our dining room table!
I had the opportunity recently to create my first Thanksgiving table with Old Time Pottery! I've styled fall tables in the past but we are usually not home for Thanksgiving so this was fun.
I wanted to move away from pumpkins for this table and use different natural elements. This gold and champagne colored runner set the stage for the other decor.
After I found the pretty runner I discovered this beautiful amber bottle basket combo! Right then I knew it would make a perfect centerpiece. Most of the time, I keep my dining room centerpieces low so that you can see your guests and talk across the table. Especially for Thanksgiving when the table is the most important part of the gathering.
So in keeping with the gold and amber tones I purchased these champagne colored wine glasses. They compliment the color scheme perfectly.
Can you believe these plates are melamine? I love the creamy color with the distressed edges, and you can't beat the price!
Old Time Pottery has such a great selection of florals! These acorn, corn husk and leaf stems just said "Thanksgiving" to me. They made a great centerpiece in the amber bottles.
They also had these larger acorns and pinecones I scattered on the runner. I love the woodland look since we live in the woods now!
And like always, I added in some sparkle with the copper mugs and candle holders. I love the contrast of the rustic decor and the shiny pieces! You could dress this table up or down. I like that its casual yet special. What do you think?
I hope this gives you some ideas for decorating your own Thanksgiving table! Whether you are traveling or staying home, I wish you the happiest Thanksgiving!
Thanks so much to Old Time Pottery for providing the beautiful tabletop decor here!
XOXO,
Jo
