This week on the blog, Hostess Jo shows us her spooky porch masterpiece!
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year…..” No, not Christmas……FALL! Don’t get me wrong, I love Christmas too. Fall is just packed with fun and less stress! The cooler temps (if you aren’t in Alabama!), the colorful leaves, pumpkin picking, and of course Halloween! I was super excited when Old Time Pottery asked me if I wanted to collaborate on a Halloween Porch Project! Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. Spooky fun, costumes and treats, you can’t beat that! Old Time Pottery has the perfect spooky décor. These jack-o-lantern planters are my favorite. If you aren’t that into Halloween you can turn them around for a pretty pumpkin planter. If you love signs, they have a terrific selection at great prices. Both of these signs and this adorable door hanger are from Old Time Pottery. They also have a ton of faux pumpkins in all shapes and colors. They look so realistic! I was going for a witch theme with the hanging hats and these witch legs just completed the look! And who could have a Halloween porch without skeletons… The pillows, skeletons, lantern and pumpkins are all from Old Time Pottery. So much fun! My kids really get a kick out of all these decorations. We like the cuter Halloween décor more than the gory! A lot of times people associate Halloween with tacky, but I think this porch shows you can decorate for Halloween in a stylish way. I hope you enjoyed this tour of our Spooky Porch! You’ve still got time to decorate your own porch for Halloween. Thank you to Old Time Pottery for providing such adorable Halloween décor!
XOXO,
Jo
